About Justin

Justin really knows wine.
- He spent 15 years buying wine for some of the most prestigious supermarkets and wine sellers in the UK, with 5 years as the Head of Wine at Waitrose.
- He is one of only [insert current number*] of Masters of Wine in the world.
- When he passed the MW, he won the Tim Derrouet Award – for the best student in his year
- Justin is a graduate of Cambridge University, where he attended Gonville and Caius College and studied Biological Anthropology. And Rowing.
- He is the panel chair for the Languedoc Roussillon at the Decanter World Wine Awards
- He is also a long-standing trustee of the Regenerative Viticulture Foundation.
- Justin served for six years on the elected Council that guides the Institute of Masters of Wine and was awarded as a Chevalier dans l’Ordre du Merite Agricole for his services to French agriculture.
- He currently serves the President of the UK chapter of the Association that supports Members – AMOMA UK.
In spite of all this, Justin is not a pompous old-fashioned fossil in a tweed jacket and red trousers.
He attributes this to plentiful live indie rock music, a small yellow labrador, and the love of a good woman.
Justin is a recovering introvert. His upper lip is learning to relax, and he does yoga most mornings. Amanda thinks he is going a bit ‘woo-woo’.
